It continuously evaluates system workload, temperature, and power headroom to adjust processor power limits, turbo behavior, and cooling response in real time. The goal is to deliver extra performance when thermal capacity allows, reduce fan noise under lighter loads, and extend battery life during everyday use. Most of the optimization happens automatically in the background through a driver and service (often listed as Intel DTT), working in concert with your device manufacturer’s thermal profiles and Windows power modes.
